The disco hunt is still going on but will end soon (at Oct. 15th). This pose is one of the gifts in it. It comes from Captivity and it is just amazing that its possible to recreate the dancing scene from pulp fiction with it. Bare feet are essential for that scene so the primfeet from slink fit perfectly. Although those ones have slightly longer toenails and also pawpads under the feet so that they are just great for roleplay. The feet are of course tintable and so are the toenails. Its also possible to turn off the pawpads as for example a demon might not have them while a werewolf of course needs them. The exotix feet are on the backside of the vendor with the normal feet. The jacket on Konrad comes from Gentleman as well as her trousers. The jacket also includes a white shirt. Gentleman is a great store for well textured clothes for men. The white tucked shirt belongs to a set from phoenix rising. They sell everything for 25 L$ or lower there. The hair on him comes from Sadistic Hacker, which is an awesome store for anime like hair and the hair on her comes from Wasabi Pills, which is an awesome store for fantasy and just cute hair.

Quarter Twister

That’s right, it’s Twisted Hunt time again! I’ve finished the 50 first stops, which is roughly speaking one fourth, so I decided to do a little sneak peek flailing about how you all should go out and hunt! First of all, here’s the official blog. It has a list and slurls to the participating stores. There are no hint lists. If you get stuck, join the group and ask politely for a hint, the Twisted folks are awesome and helpful.

The colour is what has been dubbed blurple and the theme is unseelie. This seems extremely promising to me and every fae roleplayer or evil-elf-looks fan should be out there already, camming for the Cubes of DOOM.

There were a lot of faunesque creatures already in the first quarter and this is one of my favorites. It’s by Malfean Visions and includes skin, eyes, faun legs, horns, ears and the absolutely wonderful tail with a lantern. It also has a shape, but I’m using my own in the pictures. I dressed my unseelie girl into an outfit by Goth1c0, a mix of silks and fishnets.

She’s smelling roses enjoying the dark magics radiating from the fae light. I took all these pictures in Roawenwood, and most (if not all) of the items in the scenery are a part of their bonus gifts. There’s a mini-hunt in this environment for extra prizes, find the skulls and get proper surroundings for your unseelie!

Here she’s lounging on the throne that is Roawenwood’s main prize. The pose is a part of the throne, the other poses are a part of Del May’s prize. The only thing that is not from Twisted Hunt is the hair, it’s an old Exile freebie from Hair Fair.

Im an avid collector of Glam Affair skins, whenever one special skin pops up, be it in The Dressing Room, hunts or other events, I must have it..right away preferably, so naturally I was very happy to see one in the Platinum Hunt. And I was even more happy to see it be a dark skin…now I have quite a few dark skins to go with my demon AV, but I have a feeling this will be my fav for quite some time.

I wont bore you with more “omgaah, Glam Affair is awesome”, you already know they are, and Im a wee bit distracted with it being my RL birthday, so Im just gonna stop right here, get on with the picture and details..then its time to shop shop shop.

Darker Shade of Summer

Too much sun! I wanted to do a darker look, but all the new releases and hunts are in happy summer colours belonging to the beach. Eventually I began playing with the thought of a beach huntress, a pale woman emerging on the seashore only at night, wading in the gentle waves quietly, looking for company who won’t see past the casual disguise…

I took the pictures in Las Rosadas, just darkened its pretty weather into night with windlight settings. I kept most of the look the same, just changed the clothes briefly. Speaking of these clothes and summer things, the Seasons Hunt: Summer has started!

The new colour in LaGyo’s peonies (conveniently in the Dressing Room at the moment) was another thing that made me squee. Blood-red is so winter, hmm? Fashionable hunters can certainly wear aqua in the summer.

Big change in my Second life ! Indeed, i’ve played since 2 years with the same feebie skin because of big bugs on my shapes. Since it’s still so dreadfully long until the next Zombie Popcorn Hunt I figured everyone could do with a little help to alleviate the withdrawal symptoms. I’m speaking of the Creature Feature Hunt.

Boo! I almost scared myself with this look, I must say. Also, I love this whole environment globe setting by NeverM0re, complete with the little movie screen and picnic table. I used it as a background in all these pictures, adding some other furniture from the hunt to the mix. I also mix-matched hunt prizes a lot, so the actual prizes usually had much more stuff per shop than what I show.

If I had to pick one prize that beat others with creativity, it would have to be this Serqet-dress by ImmateriA. It looked wonderful and eccentric when standing up, but when you move a little it transforms from creepy-quirky into a monster!

I ran out of hunt-skins so I used Plastik’s new skin that is for sale in the La Venta Eventa event (ends at Sunday midnight).

I’m in your Headquarters…

…noming your popcorn. Why, hello there! Another new blogger signing in. I tend to make characters while building looks and attempt to make my pictures look like they were caught in the middle of events. For this intro post I went to the ZombiePopcorn Headquarters, which is a wonderfully dark mood setting for all your undead posing needs.

I love making supernatural femme fatale looks and you all know that Glam Affair’s ZP Hunt prize was perfect for those. I also found to my delight that Loulou&Co have made these exquisite curlique gothic jewelry armlets and earring-things. I’m not sure if I should call them earrings since they sort of grow toward the cheeks. Gorgeous idea and so wonderfully created.

Aloha Sugar Pies. :3 Wha a lazzy Monday *put a leg out of the bed*. So a lot is going on @ SL. And today my look reflects two great things going on at the moment… and both also started yesterday. Like Yay!! :D  So Aurora Tremont (The Autre owner) sent a notice this morning about the opening of the 10thLurani, this is a new store where Autre joins with Lurani to sell some nice goodies all priced at 10L. And despite the thoughts on low quality products and oldies, all the items in there are brand new and made exclusive for the new store. So they are all up to date and good to make you look good.I will soon my fave dress from there… is like… the something ruffly, dramatic and cute. *_*


The other happening is the FTLO (For the Love of Halloween), this is a sim ready for your Halloween needs, with exclusive products priced 1ooL @ the entrance of each store and also a hunt going on with lots of goodies and they are not only Halloween but also other stuff that can make part of your daily look. Just look for the grey leaves around the sim, they can be anywhere and I still need to  catch up with some of them. :D
